For Group Health Benefits, we have several options the employer can choose for its employees:

HMO - Health Maintenance Organization that provides a comprehensive predetermined medical care benefit package.

POS - Point of Service plan which enables members to receive services from a network of participating as well as non-participating physicians. 

PPO - Preferred Provider Organization offers members the service of a group of hospitals and physicians who contract with insurance companies or third party administrators on a fee-for-service basis.

HSA - Health Savings Accounts were created by the Medicare bill signed by President Bush on December 8, 2003 and are designed to help individuals save for future qualified medical and retiree health expenses on a tax-free basis
